Being a girl from Arizona means that anything green and well, not the desert, is always so fun for me to photograph. When I found out there is such a thing as a tulip farm I just knew I had to take pictures at one. Thankfully my brother in law and his adorable family were on the same page! So for Mercy’s six month pictures the tulip farm became the perfect backdrop for our photo shoot! And a dream come true for me :)

This post might be a little late since it’s already 2014 (which I still cannot believe!) but I thought it would be fun to share some of my favorites from the past year. 2013 was a good one. I got to capture so many families and newborns and more weddings than I imagined I would! Here’s to 2014!
“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” Psalm 139:13-14
Meet Violet. She is perfect.
Congratulations Josh and Melissa! We are so overwhelmed with love for your little girl! She is such a blessing :)
And seriously amazing job on her nursery! It’s so beautiful
I adore this family. And they take super good pictures. Definitely one of the most photogenic families I’ve ever met.
I’ve known Rachael since I was a little girl and I feel really blessed to now call her my sister-in-law and be an aunt to her kids. Rachael and Nate, it’s so fun watching your family grow and I can’t wait to see where God continues to lead you
And a big thank you to Alisa at The Attic for the props. I just love that couch!
These two are expecting their little girl to make her debut any day now. And I am beyond excited to meet her.
Congratulations Josh & Melissa! You are going to be amazing parents and your baby girl is so blessed to have you :)
Oh, and how photogenic are they?! This session was the best
Meet the newest member of the Wilde family, Mercy Joan! I still remember finding out my brother in law and his wife were expecting a little girl. I can’t believe she’s here :) And I was pretty excited to get to take pictures of her at just four days old! We didn’t plan this shoot at all. It was a spur of the moment thing but I think it turned out pretty great. And Mercy was the best model despite the cold breeze that day.
This post is a little overdue but I just had to share these photos.
This shoot was amazing. We found this incredible field with a giant tree and rows of corn out in the middle of nowhere. The light was perfect and Adam and Tristan could not have been any cuter together. You can tell how excited they were to meet their little girl in each picture.
And he brought along his guitar to sing to his little baby :) It was precious.
There’s also a video of their session. It’s pretty sweet
I had the privilege of being a bridesmaid for my amazing friend Kelsey and was so thankful to be a part of her big day. I’ve known Matt since we were little kids and I couldn’t have dreamt of a better man for her to marry. I’m so happy for these two and cannot wait to see what God has in store for them. I know it’s something awesome! Love you both so much
I also was able to put together a little video of their day with the help of my sis in law Lacey. Hope you all enjoy it!
In September I got to attend a shootout hosted by Beyond the Wanderlust
It was amazing. The location, the lighting, the styling, the dresses…all so beautiful!

Meet Sage. The newest addition to the family and just about the most photogenic baby I’ve ever seen. Seriously, she made my job so easy! I can’t even describe just how much I loved doing this shoot. From the reclaimed barn wood door backdrop made by her daddy to the antler sheds he found out in the woods there were so many personal touches that make these photos just perfect for little Sage :) Not to mention her precious smile!
Shout out to my amazing hubby who held a blow dryer over her for just about the entire shoot to keep her warm and cozy. Such a good uncle and the best assistant!
Oh, and I threw in a few photos of her big brother Ryder because he was having just as much fun at the shoot as we did!
