This engagement session was by far the most relaxing one I have ever photographed. Angela and Damon just asked that we walk around Portland to some of their favorite spots. It was perfect.

This post might be a little late since it’s already 2014 (which I still cannot believe!) but I thought it would be fun to share some of my favorites from the past year. 2013 was a good one. I got to capture so many families and newborns and more weddings than I imagined I would! Here’s to 2014!
I have known Priscilla and Iggy for a few years and I am so excited that they are tying the knot! And even more excited that I get to capture it all!
Iggy is a fireman and it only makes sense to do photos at the fire station. And I am so happy that we did cause these two are ridiculously cute. Iggy made Priscilla laugh the entire session and they couldn’t stop smiling. I love these two and cannot wait for their big day!
When I asked Trang if she and Herman had a favorite spot to go to and she told me that they love going to McMenamins together I was instantly picturing all the amazing photos we could take there! Not only do I love McMenamins but I seriously adore this couple. We started out taking photos in the garden then moved on to the vineyard with the most amazing sunlight peeking through the vines and we ended the night with delicious pizza and chocolate cake. It was the perfect engagement session! And I’m over the moon with how the photos turned out. It always helps to have an adorable couple who are obviously crazy about each other :)
For Krystal & Ryan’s engagement session I wanted it to have a bohemian vibe with some touches of vintage. It turned out even better than I could have imagined! The day of the shoot wasn’t looking so good for weather. It rained almost non-stop since that morning and about half an hour before the shoot began the weather cleared up and the sun came out! And I am so very happy that it did :) We were able to capture some seriously dreamy shots out in the hay fields with some beautiful furniture and floral pieces.
I want to give a shout-out to the amazing vendors who were all involved in pulling this shoot together! If you are a bride in need of some help for your wedding these are definitely the best of the best!

I have known Kelsey since the 8th grade and we have been the best of friends for years! I have also known Matt since kindergarten. When these two first started dating it was the biggest and best surprise ever :) This was one of my favorite photo shoots of all time because not only was it with close friends but because they are so madly in love (my favorite kind of couple!) I cannot wait for their wedding and to see what God has in store for them!
